:.. G'day and welcome! ..:

This is a index-page for pictures from my trip around the world. It is actually a living diary from my year at The University of Melbourne but I have planned to complete a round the world trip to the west during this year. This is done by travelling via the US (New York, Houston, San Fransisco, Los Angeles) and Fiji to Melbourne. And by going via Hong Kong and London back to Sweden.

First some links to other travelpages from students studying abroad this year:
Andreas Daniel Björn Fysik-Andreas Calle

The pictures then; (Please note that it might take a while to download these pages)

Et cetera *NEW! 990919*

Some maps and stuff illustrating where the h@#$ Down Under really is, its relation to Sweden and other stuff.

Houston

So here are the first pictures from my visit in Houston, Texas, where we stay from the 7th to 25th of january, 1999, with Andreas, Daniel, Gunnar and Johan studying at the Univeristy of Houston. "Everything is big in the US, and even bigger in Texas!"

San Francisco

After Texas we took another leap to the west to visit Björn and Fredrik, who are studying at Stanford University in the Silicon Valley.

Los Angeles

To further explore California, we drove to LA in a free (!) car. Here we visited Universal Studios, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Melrose Place and Santa Monica Beach etc while living at a hostel on Venice beach, where maybe the most interesting blend of people reside.

Taveuni - Fiji

"Bula!", means "Hello!" on Fiji, where we stayed mainly on the third largest of the Fiji islands, Taveuni, at friendly Susie's Plantation. Most of the time here was spent... just spent. That is, we snorkeled and dived or basically laid back in the sun (or the shadow, it was pretty warm sometimes!).

Melbourne *UPDATED! 990919*

G'day mate! No worries mate! The Royal Melbourne Zoo, Airshow Down-Under, Australian Formula One Grand Prix etc.

The Kumbayah Walkabout *NEW! 990919*

Andreas, Bjorn and Daniel dropped down under for more than five weeks of voyages through the Australian Outback, Rainforests, Wetlands and Reefs.

Coming attraction;
Pictures from a field trip to the Grampians National Park, compulsory in Experiencing the Australian Landscape, a must do subject for international students at Uni.
